What’s in the water in a new ‘water park’?
Riverside Water Park is a new concept of water park that will open to the public this fall.
Its concept is a combination of water slide, indoor and outdoor aquatic activities.
Riverside has created a “sand-themed” themed experience that will feature “sand sculptures, water slides and a fun and interactive river.”
Riverside said it hopes to open in 2019 and that it will provide a safe, fun and engaging water experience for visitors to enjoy.
The idea for Riverside came from former Mayor Brian McKenna, who was involved in building the San Diego Convention Center.
“I think it’s great that there is a lot of potential in the city for a water park,” he said.
“It’s great to see that there are people out there that are really interested in what the future holds.”
Riversides water park will be open to anyone over the age of 14, with a $2 admission.
The water park is scheduled to open to guests in late 2019.
